Completely Random...

I take a lot of random pictures with my phone so here are a few of our everyday life.

Alex is very cautious with his stuffed animals making sure they are belted in before we go on our walk. Good thing since he is a crazy stroller driver!

Fun times at the grocery store with 2 kids. I don't know how my Mom ever went with three kids in tow, I feel sorry for her just thinking about it. It is not an easy task, Abby always wants to push the cart (and she isn't a good driver) and Alex likes to grab anything and put it into the cart.

Fun, fun...

The weather has been awesome! We have played outside a lot and the kids have really amazed me with their playground abilities. They can both do the monkey bars, they are both starting to get the concept of pumping their legs when they swing and Alex is a daredevil that isn't scared of anything. I hope we don't have a trip to the emergency room like J.B. had when he was younger due to a playground incident.

I took the day off work to take the kids to a check-up appointment with the ENT doctor and we went to All About Kids and they had so much fun. We were the only family playing in the middle of the day and the kids played so well together. It was a nice change of pace for me and them that we were able to enjoy together.

Swimming party...

Our friend Carrie & Sean's little girl Savannah turned 6, they had a birthday party at an indoor pool and the kids LOVED it! I look forward to summer days hanging out at the pool.

Tea party with a princess..

Abby and I went to a Mommy and Me princess tea party and had a lot of fun. We played dress up and did our make-up and nails, then made beaded bracelets and then ended our morning with a nice relaxing tea and cookies. It was a great time for both of us, it is always nice having the opportunity to spend time with them individually.

Gymnastics...

This term of gymnastics and tae kwon do ended for the kids, Abby loved gymnastics but we didn't sign her up again for this term, but will probably do so again in the Fall. Alex keeps us busy with tee ball, he has practice once a week and games on Saturdays.

The kids were all dressed in green for St. Patricks Day. We had a good time at our neighbors house celebrating.

I can't get this to flip around, but how cool is this? Abby practices writing her name all the time, she is so determined. At only 3 1/2 I think she is doing an awesome job.

Alex is signed up for tee ball this Spring, so far he loves it. Abby thinks she is part of his team, but she isn't. You have to be 4 to join the team, hopefully in the Fall we will get her signed up as well. She likes to sit in the dugout with the kids and we practice batting with her after every practice. She is excited to play.

The weather has been perfect this week, here is a typical day after school in our neighborhood. The kids playing in the court, riding bikes and enjoying the nice weather.

Busy, busy weekend...

What a fun, busy weekend. Saturday we had TaeKwonDo and gymnastics, then tee ball practice, then Alex had a birthday party at Build-A-Bear, then Sunday we went to the zoo. It was a gorgeous weekend! I felt bad waking both kids up this morning to go to school, they both were so tired after an exhausting weekend.

Random post of our busy weekend...

This is a very random post, but we have been busy! We went to Papa John's trail Saturday with the kids tricycles and they had a blast. We've had crazy weather these past 4 days...we had tornado warnings on Friday (luckily we were spared, but 30 miles North of us got hit hard). So devastating. Then Saturday it was in the 50's so I took the kids to the park, then this morning (Monday) we woke up to 4" of snow. Oh - tomorrow it will be in the 60's. CRAZY!!

I went to the Jimmy Buffett concert with friends, great concert! We even dressed the part!

At the mall with Abby while Alex was at a birthday party for one of his friends. She is becoming a better shopper. She was excited to go to the store for her, she picked out a new pair of "sparkly" shoes and a headband.
