"If you Give a Mouse a Cookie"...

We went to see the play "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie" and the kids enjoyed it, but got restless towards the end and we ended up leaving a few mintues before it was over. It was a beautiful day so we stopped at the Falls of the Ohio Park and took a couple pictures before heading home. I LOVE this picture of Abby with Alex in the background

Abby is growing up...

I love this denim skirt on Abby, she is getting so big!

Henry's Ark...

There is a private zoo called Henry's Ark that is in Prospect, KY (about 20 minutes from our house) that we decided to visit with our neighbors, Jamie and her daughter Claire. What a fun place, the kids had a blast, as did I.
The zebra's loved carrots!
We didn't know what this is until we looked it up, it is a Capybara, the largest rodent there is.

Dress up...

Thank you Kelly, Shawn, Meghan and Luke for the fun dress up clothes. Alex enjoyed showing off in his Indian costume and Abby loves her tutu!

Last day of summer...

We had recored high heat last week so I pulled out the baby pool to let the kids play. They had a blast!

RIP Clyde 2/3/99 - 9/24/10

I cannot put into words how much I LOVED Clyde, what an awesome doggie. I would have never guessed the day I got him, February 3, 2001, would have changed my life forever. He taught me responsibility, he taught me to love life, he taught me that daily walks are a part of life, and most of all he taught me what total and complete love is. He moved with me several times, saw me get married and have two kids (which he was incredible with), and all the while all he wanted was to love everyone that came into his life. I can honestly say that I needed him more than he needed me throughout the past 10 years. He will always have a piece of my heart, I love you Clyde.
This was taken the other day when I knew Clyde wouldn't want to walk to the park, so we drove. I am going to miss our visits to the park with him.
This picture made me laugh since Clyde is looking at Alex like he is crazy!
My three kids. Every morning when I was home with the kids we would sit on the front porch and watch whatever was going on, Clyde was so good he would stay on the porch and hang out.

Middletown parade...

I took Alex up to the Middletown Family Fun Festival where there was a parade of old cars, politicians and lots of fire trucks, what fun! It was during Abby's nap so we had good mother/son bonding time.

Alex's favorite part of the parade was the green car. He decided his favorite color was no longer orange and is now green (thanks to Charlie and Liam that are in his class).

Yummy ice cream...

Last weekend I took the kids for some ice cream, it was yummy!

UofL vs UK 2010...

Awww...a rare moment of affection

This picture shows how much Abby looks up to her big bro

Abby's 2 year check-up...

Abby had her 2 year check-up and she checked out great! Happy and Healthy!!
Weight - 26 lbs 12 oz (50th percentile)
Height - 35 1/2 inches (75th percentile)

Little Gymnasts...

We hadn't been to All About Kids to play for awhile so I took the kids this past week and they had a great time! I was surprised at what Abby could do, for being only 2! This inflatable is so steep but Abby seemed to master it
