Silly boy...

Alex is so funny sometimes, below is a video of him dancing. He was having so much fun. He still likes to organize things but has slowly gotten away from lining up his cars each night. I have a Keurig and bought a variety pack of K-cups and a carousel and he was so excited to organize all of them and the proceeded to line up the extras around the carousel, pictures are below. I must say I was excited to organize them as well, so he must get a bit of his organizational skills from me.

Snow...

We had a little bit of snow the other day and the kids loved it!

Yummy hot chocolate after we came in from the cold.

Sassy...

Abby is so cute but can be so sassy at the same time. Here she is in her princess nightgown with my heels on. She LOVES to walk around in high heels and one thing she wanted for Christmas was make-up. I don't even wear make-up so I'm not sure where she gets this from, but she is my little princess and I love her...sassiness and all!
Check out that pose as well....we are in trouble!
Silly girl with my glasses on

So pretty!

We were getting ready for gymnastics and she put all her jewelry on and was so proud of how she looked. I constantly remind her she is beautiful without jewelry and without make-up and she is only 3. Where do kids get this from??

Party!

We celebrated Alex's 5th birthday at the house with lots of great friends. Alex had fun playing with all his friends, opening presents and being a 5 year old boy. Love him!

Spiderman DQ cake...yum!
Alex got a big boy bike from us and he loved it! He will be riding with out training wheels in no time.

Abby LOVED the icing!

This was taken at school on his actual birthday. He celebrated with all of his school friends. I can't believe he will be entering kindergarten next fall, where has the time gone?

5 years old!

It's hard to believe that 5 years ago today we were heading to the hospital to be induced with Alex, two days after his due date. It was a LONG delivery, but we all made it through and 5 years later we have the funniest, handsome, most caring big brother a mother could ask for. We love you Alex!

Me: So, Alex, where do you want to go for your birthday dinner?
Alex: The place that has milk shakes, but with two cherries, one for me and one for Abby
Me: Steak n' Shake?
Alex: Yes!

We brought cupcakes to school today and Alex wore the birthday boy ribbon, tonight we will be heading to Steak n' Shake to celebrate and this weekend we have planned a party for him with our neighbors. Lots of celebrations for a special young man! We are lucky to be able to call him our son, thank you for always adding a bit of spice to our daily routine Alex, we love you!

Welcome to 2012 - Birthday parties and boo boo's...

We've been busy with New Year's celebrations, birthday parties and boo-boo's. Abby isn't the most graceful little girl I've met and in one week she managed to bite through her lip/chin, then get a bruise right under her eye and then a week later ran straight into a door knob. We have her signed up for gymnastics starting Saturday so maybe that will help her live up to her middle name "Grace". I sure hope so!

This was taken after she hit her head on the door knob, there was no blood, but band-aids make everything better, right?

I thought moon dough was a good idea...not one of my wisest Mommy moments, but the kids enjoyed making a mess!

Alex went to a birthday party for his friend, Liam, at the bowling alley. He enjoyed bowling and playing in the arcade.

Another birthday party for my friend, Meg's, twins. Alex enjoyed cosmic basketball and Abby enjoyed the inflatable slides.

We have had some unseasonably warm weather so we have made time to head outside to the playground. Everytime we go Alex wants his picture taken, so here he is. He is growing up so fast!
New Year's Eve was spent at our neighbors house, the kids had a blast dancing, playing and watching movies and eating all kinds of sweets!
Movie time with Cody & Claire on New Years. We didn't stay up until midnight, but we did have a good time at the party!
A good look at Abby's chin.
