Easter...

We had a great Easter. We have had so much rain, and it rained all weekend so we had an Easter Egg hunt in our basement, and then went to Mamaw and Papaw's house for an Easter Egg hunt indoors as well. The kids had a blast!

Alex was not scared of the Easter bunny at all, Abby, on the other hand, thought he was going to take her basket away and wouldn't get within 5 feet of him.

Our one outdoor Easter Egg hunt, the rest were inside due to the massive amounts of rain we have had

Candlelit breakfast...

One morning I decided to make breakfast extra special so the kids ate in the dining room by candle light. We rarely use our dining room, so the kids thought it was extra special.

Alex bowling...

Blurry pictures but Alex and JB went bowling when Abby and I went to see the Princesses on ice, and they had so much fun! Alex now wants to go bowling all the time.

Bats game...

Over the weekend we went to our first Bats game of the season. We went with our neighbors, Matt & Claire. The weather was awesome, it was sunny and in the 80's, it felt like summer!Everyone had a great time! Abby & Claire

Yum...cotton candy

This was Abby's first experience with cotton candy and she couldn't get enough. She ate 70% of the bag within 5 minutes, she must get that from me :-)

Playing in the rain...

We left the gym and it was pouring down rain, so when we got home I decided to let the kids play in the rain. They thought it was the best thing ever! Sassy??

1st attempt at Easter Pictures...

We went to our favorite place for photos the other day and they are okay, but not the best. We will have to try again! Alex is at the age where he has a fake smile and Abby is so sassy she decided the day we went that she didn't want her picture taken, really?!

Flying high above Louisville...

I got an email from the daycare that said they are doing "scenic tours of Louisville by airplane" for free, for students. How cool would that be? So, I signed all of us up. What a great time in a small 4 seater airplane we had! We went on separate flights since each airplane only held 4 people, but we had a good time. Alex loved every minute and Abby was unsure, but at the end she said it was fun. What an awesome experience!
