Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!!!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We went to JB's Aunt's house to celebrate and had a great time!

Alex loves riding his new zebra...he got this as a Christmas present from Jason but needed to get a bit bigger before he could use it. Now he loves it!

Clyde...

Thank you to everyone who has asked about Clyde. He is doing much better. I guess it was just a minor disc issue, but it has resolved itself. According to the vet it will probably happen again, we will keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't happen soon!!

Party time...

Happy 2nd Birthday to Savannah!! We had a wonderful time at her party Friday night at Pump it Up (an indoor playground with lots of inflatable jumping toys)! Alex had a great time and wished he could climb the stairs to go down the slide himself, but he went down with Daddy and had a huge smile and wanted to go again and again! Savannah...2 years old!

Alex enjoyed the cupcake at the party, as you can see he dug right into the icing and ate it all!
Yum!

Clyde...

Pray for Clyde again, he seems to be having another episode with his back. It has been exactly a year since he last had back problems, but it seems they have returned. A year ago he was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, luckily this time it doesn't seem as severe as last time, but we are praying he makes a full recovery again. He is on muscle relaxers and strict crate rest for the next couple weeks...we will keep you posted.

Taking Steps...

Alex will take two to four steps by himself...we are getting there!

Snow...

The weather forecasters were right...we got about a foot of snow! Alex sitting in the big snow pile that JB made after shoveling the driveway

Alex watching Daddy shovel the driveway

Clyde had a great time playing in the snow with our neighbors dogs!

Clyde trying to run in the snow...it was so deep it was up to his chest!

You can see all the snow piled up on the table.

Snow day...

We are expected to get 8-10 inches of snow today. I worked a half day, since the daycare closed early and I had to pick up Alex. We have about 2 inches on the ground and the snow is coming down quickly, so we will see if the forecasters are correct with their prediction of 8-10 inches. I am ready for winter to be over!

JB surprised me with flowers last week...they are beautiful!

All Smiles...

I have been slacking on updating the blog, it is hard to keep up now that we have another baby on the way, I have been SO tired!! It is getting better now that I am in my second trimester, but Alex keeps us busy.

Last week was Alex's first week at the new daycare. He adjusted well to the change (which I was nervous about). He is so into his routine that I thought a new daycare would throw everything off, luckily, I was wrong. They say that he is very laid back and goes with the flow, he must get that from his father! It took him awhile to adjust to the new sleeping arrangements at the new daycare, they sleep on little cots, but after three days he was napping for over an hour, so that was great.

Other than the new daycare, life has been going by too fast! Alex is still not walking on his own, but he does great with a walk behind toy or holding your hands. He just needs to take that first step, he has the coordination and his balance has improved tremendously over the past couple weeks. I would imagine that he will take his first step in the coming weeks. There will definitely be a blog entry when that happens!

Enjoy the pictures, Alex is such a happy little boy, he loves smiling!!

Thanks to Neena and Pop-Pop for these new books, Alex loves "reading" and storytime!
