Just so I can look back and remember the summer of a broken arm, below are the many pictures and x-rays of Alex's broken arm...we are thankful he is healing perfectly and that he was able to get a waterproof cast!

Chicago...

We had a great family vacation in Chicago!  We stayed busy, the first day we took the train into the city (we stayed near O'Hare), walked around and went shopping.  Abby found the American Girl Place and was so happy!  The boys found the Lego store and were in heaven.  The next day we went to the Cubs game and had a blast, it was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed it, even though they lost.  The following day we explored Navy Pier, took a boat ride and navigated our way through the city on the bus...we ended up on the North side, but chalked it up to taking the scenic route, and then ended up back on Michigan Avenue where we found the Bean.  It was a quick trip, but we all had a great time!

We came home Sunday and I went to see James Taylor with my friend Laura, it was a great show!
