Spring time fun!...

These kids have me wrapped around their fingers!  Abby and I went to Walgreens while Alex was in reading tutoring and Abby "had to have" this baby doll.  She had earned a trip to the dollar tree, but this baby was more than the $1 I would have normally spent, she convinced me she would be the best momma to this baby, so we came home with Grace....Alex got a glow in the dark basketball and he was super happy about his surprise as well.

My neighbor's grandmother passed away and she asked if I could take her girls to the Taylor Swift concert since she would be traveling to Texas.  It was a blast to see Taylor Swift and hang out with these wonderful girls.

Abby's attire for the ballpark.  Some things are just not worth a fight...

Spring!

Spring is here, which means parks and baseball and flowers!

Baking cookies and licking the mixers, yum!
Lunch with my pretty girl at Dairy Queen
I think she likes caramel sundaes
Alex got a fat lip from a baseball.  It was bad, but he was a trooper and afterwards played his baseball game.

Spring Break!

Last week was spring break for Alex's school and we didn't have plans to go on a vacation so we stayed local and enjoyed some of the fun things to do in the city.  Alex went to Abby's school and was able to play with some of his friends from last year and he said he had a great time.

Abby in her Easter dress, I didn't get any pictures of the two of them together dressed up, but they both looked so cute!
We went to Thunder Funder, which is part of the Kentucky Derby Festival, the kids were able to go into a firetruck, a Coast Guard boat, and ambulance and lots of fun bouncies for the kids.

I took the kids to lunch on Friday to Dairy Queen, yum!
We went to Slugger Field for a Bats game and had a great time.

Go Fish!

Alex's school had a play called Go Fish!, it was fun to see all the kindergartners, they did great!  We have a copy of the CD that was played over and over in my car so when they would start singing I knew all the tunes and Alex seemed to enjoy singing them as well.

Baseball and Teeball....

The next couple months will be consumed with baseball for Alex and teeball for Abby.  Alex's first game was last night and it is amazing to see how much he is improving after each practice and game.
