Pinkalicious...

We went to see the play Pinkalicious and the kids LOVED it! What a great time, Abby didn't move an inch during the entire show. Hopefully we will go to some more plays soon!

Goose Egg...

Abby was acting crazy and was jumping from the couch to the coffee table (numerous times I have told her not to do this), and this time the coffee table won... Luckily, she is okay, and after 10 minutes of crying she was back to her normal self. I checked on her every hour throughout the night. She woke up like nothing had even happened. Tough girl!

Neena & Pop-Pop's visit....

Neena & Pop-Pop came to visit for a few days and we had a great time! We went to Churchill Downs one day, then went to Historic Locust Grove the next day. It was nice for the kids to spend time with them, they are already asking when we will see them again, hopefully this summer we will make the trip to Georgia!
Locust Grove

Neena was determined to pick a winner...too bad it didn't happen

We at lunch at Lynn's Paradise cafe, which is a fun, eclectic restaurant. Mom read about it in Southern Living magazine so we had to check it out.

Staff day at the Churchill Downs...

Every year my work treats us to a day at the track on Millionaire's row. We had a great time, I put a few bets on horses, but overall broke even, which is a good thing.

What a great Mother's Day! I woke up to JB and the kids making chocolate chip pancakes (my favorite) and then we went to church, then JB grilled out. Mamaw, Papaw, Jen & Steve all came over for dinner and we had a great time. It was a nice relaxing day where I was only in the kitchen for a few minutes, and never had to slave over the stove! Thank you JB!!
It was really bright outside

Easter...

We had a great Easter. We have had so much rain, and it rained all weekend so we had an Easter Egg hunt in our basement, and then went to Mamaw and Papaw's house for an Easter Egg hunt indoors as well. The kids had a blast!

Alex was not scared of the Easter bunny at all, Abby, on the other hand, thought he was going to take her basket away and wouldn't get within 5 feet of him.

Our one outdoor Easter Egg hunt, the rest were inside due to the massive amounts of rain we have had

Candlelit breakfast...

One morning I decided to make breakfast extra special so the kids ate in the dining room by candle light. We rarely use our dining room, so the kids thought it was extra special.

Alex bowling...

Blurry pictures but Alex and JB went bowling when Abby and I went to see the Princesses on ice, and they had so much fun! Alex now wants to go bowling all the time.

Bats game...

Over the weekend we went to our first Bats game of the season. We went with our neighbors, Matt & Claire. The weather was awesome, it was sunny and in the 80's, it felt like summer!Everyone had a great time! Abby & Claire

Yum...cotton candy

This was Abby's first experience with cotton candy and she couldn't get enough. She ate 70% of the bag within 5 minutes, she must get that from me :-)

Playing in the rain...

We left the gym and it was pouring down rain, so when we got home I decided to let the kids play in the rain. They thought it was the best thing ever! Sassy??
