8 Months

Alex is 8 months old today...time has flown by!!! He has found a new way to move around, he scoots on his back and moves backwards. He also rolls around to get to what he wants. I'm sure that some day soon he will be crawling. He loves his doorway jumper and will bounce in that until he gets worn out, it is too cute!!

On Sunday we went over to our friends Scott, Amy and Jack's house. We had a great time hanging out and having lunch with them, hopefully we will do it again soon. It was a beautiful day so we walked over to the Ursuline Art Show to look around and spend some time outside. Alex and Jack had a good time together, maybe Alex picked up some pointers on how to crawl by watching Jack??

GO CARDS! Go Cards! Alex was dressed for the big game Saturday night, between the University of Louisville Cardinals and the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Unfortunately the Cards didn't win, but Alex was well dressed to cheer on his team!!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

Neena & Pop-Pop and

MaMaw & PaPaw!!! We took Alex to Paint Spot where you can paint your own pottery, and we painted trivets for both sets of grandparents. Alex was a great sport, even with cold paint on his toes!

Saturday night Alex went to MaMaw and PaPaw's house to spend the night while JB and I went to a friends birthday party. They were excited to have Alex spend the night, except when he wouldn't sleep, so Alex ended up back home around 11pm, so he could sleep in his own crib. I hope at the end of September when he is supposed to spend the weekend at their house he does better, we shall see!

Two bottom teeth...

Alex had his two bottom teeth break through his gums, it will be so cute when they are completely in

We had a great weekend. On Saturday Alex and I went shopping all day at the Outlets in Indiana, he was wonderful! He loves to be out and about, so we had a good time.Hanging out on the floor, doing "tummy time"
