Omni Hotel Grand Opening...

😢😢😩We have an awesome new huge hotel that just opened, it is an Omni, we had to walk around.  It's gorgeous and oh so cool.  Can't wait to spend the night with the kids during a staycation.

Abby found a painted rock...

Abby found her first painted rock, so much fun, we can't wait to paint a few of our own and hide them around town

 

Cincinnati Weekend...

 

It was just Abby and I that went to Cincinnati so we made it a "girls weekend" she was in heaven.  We ate well, went to fancy restaurants both nights (Bravo and J Alexanders), it was a great time to just catch up with my girl, love her heart!

 

Baseball...

Baseball season has begun!!  Go #2 for the Padres!

 

 

Soccer weekend in Cincinnati...

 Not our best showing at a tournament (we lost all 3 games), but the girls had a great time!

Dress as a book character...

Abby had to dress as a book character and she chose Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, pretty proud of the outfit we put together since she told us the night before.  As a side note, I can't brag enough about her reading habits, she is on the 4th Harry Potter Book, this school year she has read 3 (each book is between 400-900 pages). 

 

Baker in the house...

Abby went to a baking class to make French Macaroons, they were delicious!

 

Wax Museum - Pee Wee Reese

Alex had his big 5th grade project where he had to research, write a paper, perform a speech and create a tri-fold board on an historical character, he chose Pee Wee Reese.  His teacher couldn't say enough good things about how well his speech went and how well he engaged his audience.  So proud of him and his wonderful work ethic!

 

 

Abby...

Shopping with Abby is always a blast!  She definitely lights up the room everywhere she goes, love this girl of mine!

 

 

Fieldtrip with Alex...

I was able to spend the day chaperoning Alex's field trip to WaterStep and Frazier Hisotry Museum, it was a fun day, all of the kids had a blast!
