A week in review....

Wow...these kids are lucky!  This summer we've had a babysitter and they've had a great time visiting different places like the zoo, science center, calypso cove, Kentucky kingdom and our neighborhood pool.  Lucky them, they got to check out a new popsicle place called Steel City Pops...they loved it!  I can't wait to try it myself!

Abby spent the week with Neena and Pop-Pop, she had a great time.  Here we are in Knoxville since we met halfway to pick her up.

 

GAMES!  We still play a lot of fun games, especially now that our outside time is limited due to Alex's broken arm

 It seems that Benji is settling into his new home and routine, even Oreo seems to be somewhat accepting of his new brother.  He's been a good fit...even though he can be a bit mischevious

A part of the mischievousness....chewed up the wood on our steps.  Luckily a little sanding and painting has covered it right up.

No so great news...

This stinker needs to have surgery on Monday!  Unfortunately the bone didn't stay where it was supposed to so it has to be reset with a new cast.

 

Baseball and a Broken Arm...

Well it was an eventful weekend when we went to the Bats game and Alex jumped off the playset and broke his arm!  He was such a trooper, I swear he amazes me in stressful situations, he remains calm and is such a great patient.  We had to go back to the ER a few days later due to swelling, but that seems to be getting better each day as well.

 

 This was the second ER visit where they had to cut his cast so the swelling would be accommodated

Bats Game...

We had a great time at the Bats game Friday night!

 

Benji Update...

This little guy has stolen our hearts!  It's fun to wear him out each day, whether it's a trip to Home Depot, going to the ball park, or just playing a lot outside we seem to be able to get his puppy energy out.

 

Welcome to the family Benji....

Our family has welcomed a new puppy to our family, Benji!  He's super cute, laid back and we are excited to share our home with him.  Oreo is not overly excited about our new addition, he keeps a close eye on him, but hopefully with time they will be friends.
