We love our City!

We have been enjoying the warmer weather and all of the fun activities in our city!

We went to see the play Harold and the Purple Crayon, very fun, they gave us tablets and made it an interactive experience.  The kids enjoyed it!

CARDS fans...

We had the privilege to tour the University of Louisville football field, the kids loved running around on the turf.  Then we went to the Louisville baseball game, it was a gorgeous day!

Fun weekends...

Another fun weekend that went by way too fast!  Abby loves getting dressed up even when we don't have anywhere special to go, so here she is with her baby dressed just like her shopping at Sam's Club.

Random happenings...

A post of random things we've been up to...it's been a busy couple weeks!

School carnival, the kids had a blast!

Abby was so excited to get Rey's Story, she is a huge Star Wars fan!

Abby's been learning about maps so she came home and used the chalk wall to create her own town

On a nice 65 degree sunny day we had to wash the cars, I don't mind washing my own car but the kids really wanted to help, so they had at it.

Pinewood Derby...

Alex's first Pinewood Derby event was a success, he had an awesome car, which came in 3rd place!

Valentine's Day...

The kids had a wonderful Valentine's Day!  I was lucky to be able to attend both of their school parties, it's always a good time to see them interacting and having fun with their peers.

 

 

Alex won "neatest" box, by the time I was able to get a picture of it one of the front legs fell off.

 I loved this idea for bookmarks in Alex's Class, the front says Alex is... and the back has what the other students think of him.

This was after the party and we lost an A, but it was a cute Valentine box!

Snow Tubing...

We took the kids snow tubing at Paoli Peaks and had such a blast!  The kids loved it!  Next year we may try out skiing!
