Whilrwind Weekend...

We had such a fun weekend!  Saturday we woke up, went to Abby's soccer game, then the Middletown Festival and then the University of Louisville football game!  It was a lot of fun, and definitely wore the kids out.  Sunday was a new day, beautiful mid seventies, sunny, not a cloud in the sky, so we took advantage and went to Kentucky Kingdom.  Abby is fearless and LOVES roller coasters!  Alex enjoyed them as well, but is still warming up to the idea of riding the "big ones".  Love these kiddos and fun weekends, I just wish they were longer.

 

 

Crafty...

I went to a class to learn to make mesh or burlap wreaths and used my skills to make this U of L wreath, go CARDS!

Soccer, Lost tooth and shopping....

Busy Labor Day weekend for us!  Abby lost her first tooth last week and the second bottom tooth is going to be coming out any day now.  Her two bottom adult teeth are already through the gum but the baby teeth were stubborn to finally give in and fall out. 

 

It was also Abby's first soccer game, they won!  She is a great soccer player and is starting to enjoy and understand the game. 

 

Last thing we did was go shopping with her birthday money!  She ended up with lots of Cinderella stuff and couldn't be happier.  Love this girl!

Celebrating 6....

Celebrating 6!!!  What a fun birthday party at the bowling alley, Abby had so much fun celebrating with her friends.  Love this girl and all of her sweetness!

 

 

 

 

Happy 6th Birthday Abby!!!

It's hard to believe that Abby is 6 years old, time is flying by!  I'm so lucky to be her Mommy, she's beautiful, smart and sassy, and I love it!!  Happy Birthday baby girl!

 

Her birthday party is this weekend so we celebrated by having a blizzard with candles!

 



First Day of First and Second Grade...

We had a great "day before school" blast and went go carting and played arcade games, and went out for dinner.  The kids were so excited to start school, it's hard to believe they are in first and second grade, time is flying by!  Love these kiddos and look forward to a great year!

Lazy Sunday & Swim Awards...

We woke up Sunday and declared it a relaxation day, so we stayed home, played games and then ended up going swimming at the Y.  Sunday evening was the swim team banquet and the kids each got 2 trophies.
