Another weekend at the Lake, a Birthday party and a walk across the bridge...

It was a BUSY weekend, but we had a great time!  The weather has been unseasonably cool the past few days but we still went in the water when we went to Patoka Lake on Saturday.  Sunday we went to a birthday party for Alex's friend Kayden and then we went and walked across the Big Four Bridge.  It was a busy day and Abby fell asleep in the car on the way home at 5:30pm and didn't wake up until 6:45 this morning, 13+ hours of sleep...she was tired!

Little sister is taller....

It's official...we went to the doctor and Abby is 1/4 inch taller than Alex.  Alex doesn't know and still insists that he is taller but here are their "official" stats:

 

Alex - 44"

Abby - 44 1/4"

 

Hopefully our little man will have a growth spurt soon!

Lake...

 JB took the kids to the lake with his family and they had a blast!

Alex LOVES to do flips, so he was really excited when he was given the "green light" to flip off the side of the boat (since he isn't allowed to do it on the side of the pool).

 

This is a big deal since Abby's incident last year of going in to the pool without floaties and me jumping in fully clothed after her she has been scared of jumping in by herself, but she has overcome her fear!  So excited!

Summer!

 

Summer!  This is what the kids have been doing...swimming, going to the Science Center, going to Waterfront Park, spending lots of time outside, having a blast with Ms. Ashley!

I went to Kroger the other day and Abby convinced me to get the car cart, they're a little big for it, but they had a good time shopping.

 



More summer fun...

We took a trip to Cincinnati and went to Coco Key Water park and Kings Island, and then went to Sharon Woods park and rented a pedal boat, so much fun, and a gorgeous weekend to spend lots of time outside!

 Alex went to rock climbing camp last week and loved it!  He is a natural!

Busy Summer!

The last day of daycare and the kids celebrated with all the wonderful staff by having a huge waterslide, so much fun!

 Here's Abby after the last day of school....it wore her out!

 We celebrated Beau's 1st birthday.  Alex always seems to have lots of girls around to play with, and this party was no different.  Savannah (Beau's sister) had friends over and Alex was one of two boys, but I think he liked it.
