Disney World!!!!

We made the trek to Disney World and had a great time!  It was a relaxing laid back trip and we all enjoyed our time with the Mouse.  These pictures are not in order but you can get an idea of all the fun things we did.

What better way to spend time in the car but to put stickers on our faces
At the hotel one night we walked around and found all the fun Cars themed statues.  The kids enjoyed being silly for the camera in many of them

We stopped for a couple minutes and Alex laid down on a bench....it was a tiring trip, but he kept going strong

Sibling Love, making ice cream, face painting and a trip to Starbucks...

A week in review....Abby and I had a quick trip to Starbucks before Alex's basketball game on Saturday morning.  She enjoyed a cake pop and chocolate milk while I enjoyed my coffee.  I bought an ice cream maker and we tried it out and made cookies and cream ice cream, yum!  The kids watched the ice cream maker spin most of the 20 minutes it was going.  They were excited for the finished product, which turned out great!  Alex went to a birthday party and had his face painted like a cheetah, he enjoyed it until he walked in the door and wanted it washed off.  Just a week in our busy, busy lives, love these two kids, even when they do decide to beat up on each other (see video).

Abby with Curls...

Just a cute picture of Abby on the swing the other day

Walk Across the Big Four Bridge....

The Big Four Bridge opened up for walkers and bikers last week so we walked across and the kids thought it was so much fun.  We saw a barge with a large load of coal that the kids had to watch until it almost dissapeared since it was so far away.  The Indiana side is not yet complete so the total walk was 1.4 miles.  Both kids did great, Abby wanted "uppy" for part of the walk but for the most part she did great.  We met Mayor Greg Fischer and the kids thought it was neat to meet a "celebrity".  We look forward to many more walks over this historic bridge.

100 Days...

Alex had his "100 days" celebration at school and had to wear a shirt with 100 items on it and also bring a bag full of 100 items.  He brought in legos.
