Things my mommy says I shouldn't do (but they are so much fun)...

Happy Valentine's Day
We have been busy. We had snow on Tuesday, only 4 inches, but enough to close schools and daycare. JB stayed home with Alex all day, since my work was still open. Unfortunately, the snow had a layer of ice on top, so we couldn't go out and play in it. Maybe next time is snows Alex will be able to make a snow angel!!
Alex has been busy (as you can see in the pictures below). He has found out many things that he shouldn't do, even though he thinks they are so much fun. Below are some pictures of when I was trying to clean up the kitchen, he makes the process much longer, since you have to redirect his attention to somehting he is allowed to do.
Alex has discovered Clyde's bowls. He thinks playing in the water is great fun! Of course, we don't approve of this, so he was told "no" shortly after taking these photos. He is such an explorer!!

Climbing in the dishwasher. I turned my head for a second and he was IN the dishwasher, he moves so fast!!

Happy February...

It has been a long time since we have posted anything! Alex has been sick with a gastrointestinal virus, so we have been dealing with that. Luckily, he is feeling much better. I have had "morning" sickness every evening, so hopefully that will end soon. We are on the road to recovery...we hope February will be a healthier month for us!! Alex reading "Bright Stanley"

Alex's first lollipop, he got it from the doctors office, he thouroghly enjoyed it!

Reading the newspaper, he loves to sit up on his knees

Big Smile! Alex loves walking with his toy hippo. He is getting more balance each day, so one day soon he will take his first step!!

A short video of Alex with his hippo (press play)...he is screaming with delight!

We went to the doctor yesterday to verify my due date and it changed to August 20, 2008! Below are pictures of our little peanut. Everything looks great, we heard the heartbeat, and saw him/her moving his/her arm buds...too cute!! We will find out on March 18th if it is a boy or a girl.

Birthday Party...

We had a wonderful weekend. It was great to have my parents and sister Kelly and her family in town. We missed Carrie, Jennifer, Cooper, Aunt Kathy and Gabriella, hopefully they will be able to visit soon! The party was a lot of fun, lots of kids and friends to celebrate such a wonderful day! This past year has gone by so quickly, I'm sure it will fly even faster once we have our 2nd child. For now, we are loving every minute of being parents to Alex, and enjoy how he changes everyday. He is starting to walk with his toy hippo, which is so much fun to see, and his personality is really starting to show. Happy birthday to our sweet baby boy!!

Savannah had a great time playing with the other kids and wearing her fire chief hat!

Obviously, Alex enjoyed the icing off his cake!

Marie's big smile!

Will liked the plate as a hat better than the fire chief hat!

Meghan and Luke had a great time!

Alex loves this hippo toy he got from Neena and Pop-Pop for Christmas, he is learning how to walk and loves it!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!
We hope everyone has a wonderful, healthy, happy 2008!

We went to Georgia this past weekend to celebrate Christmas with Colleen's family. We had a great time, but it was a short trip. Hopefully next time we can stay a little bit longer and enjoy the beautiful home that Neena and Pop-Pop have in Dahlonega. Hopefully next time Kelly, Shawn, Meghan and Luke will be able to join us as well, they sure were missed!!

We met baby Cooper and he is adorable (as you can see in the pictures below). I'm sure Alex and him will have a wonderful time together when they get a bit older.

Alex has recovered from his tubal surgery and seems to be doing great. He was in a great mood while we were in Georgia, besides a little bit of fussiness in the car, since he was bored.
