We had a good night last night, Alex went 4 hours between one of his feedings! I hope he keeps it up, that extra hour of sleep was wonderful!

We went to the doctor today for Alex's 1 month check up. He weighs 9lbs 6 oz. It is amazing how fast he is growing. He no longer fits into his newborn clothes, and his 0-3 month clothes are a little big on him, but I am sure he will fill them out in no time. The doctor confirmed our suspicions about Alex having colic, and thinks he may also have reflux, but nothing requiring medicine, just a LOT of patience.

The bath wore him out

Alex's first real bath (he had only had sponge baths), his umbilical cord FINALLY fell off...took a little longer than normal. He loved it, I think he would have been happy in the tub all day.

This was taken after a bath. He is getting so big...look at the last picture of him in his bouncy seat, and there is a big difference.

Alex got an activity mat, and enjoys looking at all the stuffed animals that hang from it.

A BIG thank you to my Mom and sister for coming to visit for four days! They watched Alex one night and I was able to sleep for 6 hours straight...it was wonderful!! They also cleaned the house, organized cabinets and did laundry. They were a huge help, hopefully they will be back soon!!!
